hey guys!! i just wanted to make a thread where we could all flail about our favorite crisscolfer fics! :3 links would be grand. i figure this way we can have a nice collection of go-to fics right here on the board!  i'll start things off. some of my all-time favorite fics are: • taking root by hellonik (think really awesome existential roadtrip) • lipstick traces by odd (soulmate AU where chris is a drag queen *___* hollaaa) • anything by ann slightestwind ( her cc fic tag) what about you guys? favorites? fic recs? c: post them here! |

Taking Root - YES! I was thinking about this the other day, but I couldn't remember the name or who wrote it I love Odd's fic as well. ipoptartyou - I haven't heard of those. What are they about? Ugh, I wish I could remember names of some of the earlier stuff I've read. The Trip and Stumble 'verse by alittledizzy is one rec I can think of right now.
Also, I'm a sucker for angst and pining!Darren so those are usually the kind of fics I like to read and write. |

I'd also rec Odd's fic. Really anything that is CrissColfer that's she written is great. staceycat Pining!Darren is the best!! I also have a thing for angst when it comes to CC, so my favorites tend to reflect that. I'd rec A Safe Distance & the prufrock verse by twobirdsonesong ((anything she writes is fantastic actually)) Gravity/ Like A Satellite by nasonexyouswine, Gravity is the first part, and Like a satellite is the sequel and you really have to read both to be satisfied. These are really angsty, like, reallyreally angsty. But I loved them. And of course Trip & Stumble is just a must read for everyone. |

Ugh, you're making me want to read all those again. I just discovered the prufrock verse a few months ago. It's so lovely. I like everything certaintendencies has written, and her art, which is humorous and/or porny. |

Ooooooooh, I forgot about certaintendencies, she does have a porny/humorous style. It's very enjoyable indeed. It's funny how when you try to think of good fics that you've read, you draw a complete blank, RIGHT WHEN YOU NEED TO REMEMBER TITLES AND AUTHORS AND STUFF... WAITWAIT, I THINK I HAVE ANOTHER ONE. It is Whisper 'I love you' by dreams_and_oj. And now i'm completely blank again. It'll all come back to me sooner or later. In small chunks. And then i'll make even more rec posts... |

Since people have already rec'd Trip and Stumble, I'm gonna go ahead and rec Underneath Your Skin by alittledizzy and savvymavvy - it's porn star!Darren, customer!Chris i mean honestly how much better does it get than that? (this one is also a continuing verse AND they have RP accounts for it. I mean, it's just perf) Another one of alittledizzy's that I really like is Sophomore - Teenage fanboy!Darren and regular, famous!Chris. It's perfect. This is turning into an alittledizzy fic rec but you should all also read Right Through And Underneath which is famous!Chris with Darren as his secret boyfriend. Also, anything by neaf (if any of you don't know, she's not on tumblr anymore but you can find her on it-could-happen.net) but especially The Heart Of The Navigator, which is a must read for any Doctor Who fans, but you really don't have to watch the show to be able to follow along. As long as you have rudimentary knowledge you'll be good. |
